A couple of weeks ago I decided it was time to unwind a little after finishing up the largest piece I've ever tackled to date. I find that small "mini" works give a much needed "fast" sense of completion. When you work for up to three months on the same piece every day, a simple one day turn around is a very rewarding and welcomed feeling!
I've wanted to work on these two for a very long while now - they're owner has passed on now but he was a close friend, his herd was and always will be the most inspiring group I've ever worked with. His children are managing them now and I hope to go back soon.
Not sure I'll be able to turn the red twist cow into a larger piece due to a very tiny picture to work from but I'm wanting to try it as a companion piece to the "Lady in the Water". One dusty and warm and the other wet and cool.
